Roberto Cavalli Re-opens Madison Avenue Flagship
January 2012
In September 2011, Roberto Cavalli re-opened its Flagship on Madison Avenue in New York City.
The store has an updated look of simplicity accented by exquisite detailing. Cavalli himself said what he likes best about the store is the “hand detailing in the decor of the boutique. It’s just as important as it is in my collections.” The detailing to which Cavalli is referring incorporates such visually rich materials as glowing Damasco glass on the store’s exterior; walnut parquet mosaic floors surrounded by brass, silver and glass edging in the shoe department; dark brown quartzite flooring mixed with crystal dust; backlit crystal displays set into the walls, and python-printed leather upholstered furniture.
Currently Roberto Cavalli is redesigning additional space that will be added to the store location later in 2012. This future expansion will include a section dedicated exclusively to Cavalli’s new menswear line, similar to its Paris flagship.
