Doc Martens in Daily News
February 2011
We neglected to post this article about the Doc Martens Soho store opening which featured in the Dail News on November 5th, 2010:
"If there was any doubt that 1990s style is back with a vengeance, look no further than the brand new Dr. Martens store on Spring St.
The boutique, the only dedicated Doc shop on the East coast, opened its doors on October 25. The brand has been around for 50 years as a utilitarian shoe for builders, postman and other workaday people who needed to be on their feet all day. While London skinheads may have adopted the boots in the 1960s, they soon became the popular footwear of punk, ska, and Goth music of the late 1970s and 1980s...Trends come and go, but Docs were not forgotten. While they've been selling well wholesale, the brand has been slowly evolving."
